EtsyInspired #137 ~ Imagine Studio

This week's EtsyInspired shop is Imagine Studio. This shop offers such amazing modern works of art! They have photomontage, digital collages and painted photographs. I love the ethereal feeling to these art pieces! They are just so beautiful! For me, these pieces evoke a lot of emotion. This shop is a bit more artsy than you see on EtsyInspired but I really love showing all the different things you can find. This week, Imagine Studio is offering up a 5x7 print of the winner's choice as a prize.

Please head over to the EtsyInspired Blog to see the rules, challenge details and to link up your projects.

This week's awesome sponsor is EAD Designs. This is a company that I LOVE! They offer amazing vinyl for your home AND for scrapbooking. They also offer Stickerz for card making and let me tell you, it's REALLY easy to make a card with these! Supplies from this shop give a lot of wow for a little work and that's my FAVORITE!

Here's my creation this week inspired by the piece of art above. EAD was kind enough to give me these Circus Time Stickerz to work with. These are just SO adorable! I went with a collage like background and a sweet clown centerpiece.

FWF: Who Does This Remind You Of?

Hi friends! I hope you are having a good week! It's been kind of rough here emotionally with some things going on so I'm really happy it's Friday! Here's to a good weekend and a better next week, right?

Ok, so like the title says "who does this card remind you of?" I'm not sure you all can guess so I'll tell you later on. ;) I made this card using Card Patterns 112. I'm obsessed with sentiments in banners these days. It's the most genius thing ever! Seriously, I never know where to put my sentiment and this makes it so much easier!

I was going to try to use the sentiment from the same set as the bunnies (Unity/Cosmo Cricket Togetherness Families) but it was too big for the banner, so lucky me I had the same sentiment in a different set. I used Unity's Heartfelt Sentiments for this card. Then, of course I paired it with Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper because that's how I roll.

Did you guess where the inspiration of my card came from? Did you think it was these two cute little bunnies? (Seriously, this is the best picture for these stair shots.) The little stamp bunnies are MUCH easier to photograph. I'm just saying!

Ok, head over to the Unity blog and check out everyone who is participating in this week's hop. And guess what? I'm Growing in Unity next week so come back for some fun and a giveaway!

Card Details:
Cardstock: tan
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket Togetherness
Stamps: Unity and Cosmo Cricket Togetherness Families, Unity Heartfelt Sentiments
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Misc: Spellbinders banner, Fiskars border punch, May Arts ribbon, Making Memories stickers

Flowerpot Girl

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all well! We are in full spring mode around here. The kids want to "garden" everyday which means I have to garden while they watch. :) Not the most fun I've ever had in my life, but what can you do?

Here's a card I made for a call that wasn't picked up. I like it, but the coloring isn't where it should be especially with the hair. That's what I get for letting my coloring skills go dormant. Oh well, lesson learned. Maybe.

Have a great day everyone!

Card Details:
Cardstock: white
Patterned Paper: Echo Park Springtime
Stamp: Stamping Bella Florence the Flowerpot Girl
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Coloring Medium: Copics
Misc: Divine Twine, Spellbinders Nesties Scalloped Ovals, Kaisercraft rhinestones

Happy Anniversary, Honey!

Here's my post from the Paper Maniac Blog yesterday:

Hi friends! Ashley here to start off the week at the Paper Maniac blog. I'm SO sorry that I'm so tardy getting my post up today! Easter took a lot out of me. Hope you all had a GREAT Easter!

Don't forget about the sales currently going on at Paper Maniac!!! The April specials are out of this world!!! 10% off on Copics, 20% off on Basic Grey, 30% off adhesives, 40% off Unity stamps and 50% off clearance items!
Here's my card. It's a late card for my hubby for our anniversary which was last week. I'm ALWAYS behind on getting cards for my immediate family. Isn't that horrible? And manly cards are so tough so then I struggle some more. The patterned paper on this card is Echo Park Be Mine (which now comes in 6x6.) Confession? I have both. The sentiment is an SRM sticker. I love these stickers! They really save me on projects since I always worry about smudging my stamping or making my sentiment crocked. I just finished with some red buttons and someMay Arts burlap string.

EtsyInspired #136 ~ Bearly Art

This week's EtsyInspired shop is Bearly Art. They specialize in painted clocks, sculpture, and other lovely hand painted decor items. This shop is super fun! This shop has a little bit for everyone from modern to cute or from fancy to fun. I love all the different designs they have! This week, Bearly Art is offering up one in stock clock of the winner's choice as a prize. How cool is that?

Hop on over to the EtsyInspired blog to check out the detail and link up your creations!

Our sponson this week is Sassy Cheryl's. This is a store stocked FULL of adorable digi stamps and colored images! They are offering up a $5 gift certificate as another prize this week.

Here's my card for this week inspired by the clock above. I used some super pretty My Mind's Eye paper and just added a bunch of embellishments.

FWF: Feel Better Soon

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I'm excited since this weekend is Easter and it will probably be the first that Parker can really participate in. You'll be that they will be LOTS of pictures! :)

Here's a rather CAS card I made using some Unity and Ippity stamps. I actually made this for a call and it wasn't picked up. You win some you lose some, you know? There's no patterned paper on this card. Isn't that crazy? It's actually a little out of character for me. Some colored ink? Lots of neutrals? I'm not sure if I really like it. Hmmm... The doily is from Unity/Bella Blvd Bella Doilies and the sentiment is from Ippity's Just Wanted to Say (which is really one of my favorite sets.) I just added gems, seam binding and ribbon.

Ok friends, don't forget to leave a comment since there's blog candy hidden somewhere within the Friends With Flair hop. Go over to the Unity Blog to see everyone participating in today's hop! Don't forget, Unity Stamps are on sale at Paper Maniac but only through the rest of April! AND there's a COUPON this weekend using coupon code JELLY_BEANS to get an extra 15% off orders of $30 or more! Woot!

Monochromatic Flowers

Hi friends! I wanted to share another card today so I didn't forget to link it up. With a holiday weekend, I'm not sure if I'll be blogging much. Who knows?

Here's a card I made earlier this week when I found a little time to color. This card was made for a few challenges. First up, the CAS Challenge 115 on SCS to be inspired by the card posted. I kept the same layout and I LOVED how she only colored her flower so I did that too. And I'm entering this in the iCopic #26 and There She Goes #103 challenges that are monochromatic coloring and cards. The image is Stamping Bella. I love these flowers! Very pretty, huh? I colored this with Copics V12,V15 and V17. I used an embossing folder on the dark cardstock too, not sure if you can see it. Then just finished with some ribbons.

Have a great weekend everyone!

My Savannah Card

Hi friends! Happy Thursday! I can't believe I slacked so much on my blogging this week! I literally have a whole folder of cards to blog but I just haven't felt up to it lately. Maybe it's spring fever or something.

Ok, every now and then when I run really low on mojo, I decide to make a card inspired by a friend. This time, I decided to go with Savannah. I LOVE this girl! She's so creative and sweet! (Go leave her comments, she's doing Growing the Unity this week and she has blog candy!)

So, I decided to take a couple of the challenge teams she's on and combine them into one Sav inspired card. The sketch is from the All Things Unity challenge (seen in the graphic below) and the colors are from last week's Play Date Cafe challenge (I'm a little late for that one.) I used Unity Stamps (on sale at Paper Maniac this month!) because they are Sav's favorite. Plus, I can't make a Sav card without a butterfly. :) The sentiment is perfect because she really does inspire me! She's an amazing crafter!

Have a great week friends! I have tons more blogging to do so stay tuned!

Card Details:
Cardstock: white, Kraft
Stamps: Unity Could I Be Any Cuter, Unity Heartfelt Sentiments
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Misc: Spellbinders Banners, May Arts string, Queen & Co pearls, CB embossing folder

PM: Celebrate

Here's my post from the Paper Maniac blog yesterday:

Hi friends! It's Ashley to kick off the week here at the Paper Maniac blog. :) I can't believe we are half way into April! This year is flying by! Speaking of April, don't forget the April specials! 10% off Copics, 20% off Basic Grey, 30% off adhesives, 40% off Unity and 50% off clearance items! WOW! I just got an order today. :D
Here's my card for today. I thought I'd share some lovely SPRING colors with you! I don't know about you folks, but I LOVE spring! The flowers, the birds, and how it's not too hot, all wonderful things! This card was made with patterned paper from Basic Grey Hopscotch and the stamp is from Unity Stamp Co, all on sale! The ink is Memento Rich Cocoa.

Have a LOVELY day everyone!

Lawnscaping Challenge 8

Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend! We had a good time, just relaxing at home and going out to eat. The kids had a great time with their grandparents so it was good all around. This week is a little funny for us with hubby's work schedule so wish us luck! ;)

Today, we are kicking off a new Lawnscaping challenge! This time, this challenge is Calling All Critters! You can use any critters you want for your project. How fun is that?! In case you didn't already know, I love critters! I know, shocking, right? This challenge is right up my alley! And it's perfect for Lawn Fawn being that they have the cutest critters around!

The sponsor for this challenge is Lawn Fawn! How cool is that? The winner will get to pick one stamp set of their choice for a prize! Not only that but they will get the chance to design along size the team in an upcoming challenge!

Here's my card for the challenge. I decided to go with Critters in the Sea. I made up this fairly clean and simple card then added some Divine Twine to it. I LOVE clear stamps because you can curve the sentiment to suit your card!

EtsyInspired #135 ~ Creating is Fun

This week's EtsyInspired shop is Creating is Fun. This sweet shop is owned by my pal Martha. She goes all over to find pretty trims and buttons to sell. I love all the vintage goodies in her shop! I actually have many trims and buttons from her shop. I love them all! Her things are very nice! Her kits are especially nice since she puts together complimentary items. This week, Creating is Fun is offering up one item of the winner's choice to one winner. ALSO, she's decided to continue a sale from yesterday just for our readers! To get 50% off your purchase just use coupon code FRI50.

Beautiful Balloon

Hi friends! Just popping in to share a card I made a couple days ago but forgot to blog. I made this card for the Moxie Fab World In My Beautiful Balloon Challenge.

I found this paper from Echo Park in the Springtime collection and I knew what I needed to do with it! How pretty is that sun? I added Stickles to it to make it really shine. I decided to use the shape of the balloons by stamping the balloon on the back of the paper and then cutting it out. The stamps are from Practicing Creativity. I finished with a little baker's twine in yellow.

Have a nice night!

Card Details:
Cardstock: white
Patterned Paper: Echo Park Springtime
Stamps: Practicing Creativity Look Up!
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Misc: Stickles yellow, Divine Twine

FWF: Welcome Baby

Hi friends! Happy Friday! Guess what? My 6th wedding anniversary is tomorrow! YAY! We are dropping the kids off at my In Law's house and they will stay there until Sunday. :) No real plans yet but a much needed break so I'm THRILLED!

Here's my card for the new Unity Friends With Flair challenge. I have no idea what those crazy kids are up to but I like it! :D Well, I don't really KNOW that I like it but I'm sure I do.

Here's a card I made for a call that was rejected. What can you do? It's the best of so many worlds! Unity, Ippity and Cosmo Cricket. I mean seriously, so cute! The bunny is Unity and Cosmo Cricket Togetherness Families and the sentiment is from Ippity's Moonbeams and Heartstrings.

Have a great day everyone! Check out the Unity Blog to see everyone participating in the hop! And LEAVE a comment! One of the prizes is HIDDEN on a blog so you have to leave comments everyone!

PS don't forget that Unity Stamps are on sale at Paper Maniac!

Card Details:

Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket Togetherness
Stamps: Unity and Cosmo Cricket Togetherness Families, Ippity Moonbeams and Heartstrings

Stamping Bella Sketch

Hi friends! Sorry that I'm blogging so late in the evening! I am just not feeling well today. I did want to share this Stamping Bella cuteness with you though!

This is my first time playing along with the Stamping Bella Friday challenge and I had a blast!! They supplied a sketch this time. I'm not sure if the super thin ribbon makes this card look kind of "old school" but I thought having those sweet little bows like in her hair would be super cute. This image is Florence the Flower Pot girl. Isn't she super cute?! I have some more stamps from this line coming and I can't wait!! Eeeek!

Have a great night everyone!

Card Details:
Cardstock: white
Patterned Paper: Echo Park Springtime
Stamps: Stamping Bella Florence the Flower Pot girl
Coloring Medium: Copics
Misc: ribbon, Nesties beaded ovals, Stickles

Fashion Forward Unity

Hi friends! Hope you are having a great week! We are having a nice week. My anniversary is this weekend, so I'm trying to plan that. :)

Here's a card I made for the Unity Fashion Forward challenge and for the Moxie Fab World gift card holder challenge. I used some darling GCD Studios Material Girl paper. I mean, seriously, look at these super cute purses! How gorgeous, right? I would totally wear those purses! I used Unity's Going Retro for this gift card holder. And sorry about using my CVS Extra Care card for this, I didn't have any gift cards. This card holder is made on with a template I found on the Paper Crafts Connection blog by my pal Kimberly Crawford.

Have a great day everyone!

Masculine Card Set

Hi friends! I hope you are having a fabulous Tuesday! We've had a laid back day today but the sun is shinning so I really couldn't ask for more. :)

I'm super excited about my new stamps from Wilson Designs, Nauti-cool. I decided to make a masculine card set to enter in the Moxie Fab World card set challenge. I really like this nautical theme for man cards! These cards are really simple just some embossed background paper, layered Nesties, burlap string and stamping.

Have a great day everyone!

Salt Air Hello

Here's my post from the Paper Maniac blog yesterday. This card is based on Laura's sketch found HERE. I've missed her sketches!

There are also sweet little matching Salt Air stickers that go with it. The stamp is from Unity/Cosmo Cricket Delovely Whimsy stamped in some Memento Rich Cocoa ink. The ribbon is seam binding that I dyed with tea.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Lalala Pink Glittery

I asked Dustin what kind of card I should post today and "Lalala Pink Glittery" is what he said. You see what I deal with?

So, here's the only card I had to kind of met that description, at least it has pink. I made this for the Sparkle Creations challenge #37 which is all neutrals with a pop of color. I also used the Card Positioning Systems sketch for this week.

I colored her up with some Copics which I really need to start coloring more. This is my first time inking up a Sparkle Creations stamp and I have to say I love it! The quality is very nice! I paper pieced her outfit with some Echo Park Be Mine. Then I finished my card with some buttons from Michael's and some twine from The Twinery in Pink Sorbet. I really like how it adds such a nice pop of color. I'm also entering this in the Wee Memories challenge to use twine.

Have a great day everyone!

Product Review: Hair Doodles

Hi friends! I have a fun review for you today! These are products I bought for myself, so I have absolutely gotten nothing for this review. The owner of this shop is a friend of mine and I just wanted to tell you about her awesome business and the cuteness you can get at INCREDIBLE prices!

The business is called Hair Doodles. And I've gotten one order from her already and I have another one on the way. I LOVE everything I got and it's such good quality. Look at this headband that I got. Isn't it CUTE? It's SO sturdy too! I wore it to a birthday party that was at place with a pit where you could shoot balls at people and it got shot many a times and held up fantastically. I have 2 little boys so, I know sturdy when I see it!

The designs are so cute! She has hair things for all ages! The ones for the little girls are SUPER cute! I wish I had some little girls that could wear them! (Hopefully, one day!)

Check out this adorable Giants bow, made just for baseball season! I'm sure that you will be able to find something that you like if you check out the Hair Doodles! And she does custom orders as well!

Circus Birthday

Hi friend! Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great day! We had lunch with friends and I got happy email today so things are going well! Nothing planned for this weekend, so that's nice too!

Here's a card I made for a recent call that didn't get picked up. I used some super fun GCD Studios paper called Fun House. I punched the images out and then I fussy cut the banners. And the sentiment is from Wilson Designs Stamps from the set Everything's Owlright.

Thinking Of You

Hi friends! Hope you are all having a great day! I'm doing pretty good. I'm sad because it appears that there is a storm coming in and we were having such great weather. But the kids went outside earlier so I think that will hold them over for a while.

Here's a card I made with My Cute Stamps Konnichiwa. I bought this stamp set when Holly put it on special and donated all the proceeds to help Japan. Gotta love a company that gives back! I wanted to ink this up but I didn't want to color so I paper pieced it. I know, I'm a genius! ;) It's super simple but I like it! The paper is Imaginisce from the Garden Party line. The flowers are sakuras (cherry blossoms) so that reminded me of Japan as well.

Have a great day everyone!

Buttony Birthday

Here's my post from Paper Maniac Blog for this week:

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Have you seen the April specials at Paper Maniac yet?! Absolutely, spectacular deals!
Here's my card for this week. We went to a birthday party over the weekend and my sons suggested that we give their friend a train card. So, of course, I pulled out my Echo Park Little Boy paper. Love these little trains! The sentiment is from a Unity (huge sale on these!) set,Birthday Chic in Memento Rich Cocoa. I finished with some buttons.

(ETA: I'd like to enter this in the current All Things Unity Challenge to make a creation with buttons on it.)

Have a great week everyone!

Lawnscaping Challenge 7

Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend! We had a fun one over here! Gardening and a birthday party. :D

It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's time for another Lawnscaping challenge! Hooray! This challenge was a VERY hard one for me, Make Your Own Patterned Paper with Stamps! Ack! You might have noticed that I'm not really a "stamper" as much as I'm a "paper crafter." The precision it takes to make patterned paper isn't really in me and I actually never think mine turns out that great. However, I gave it a try and that's what matters RIGHT??

Super fabulous prize this challenge so even if it's not your cup of tea, you HAVE to give it a try! :D The prize is a $25 gift card to Simon Says Stamp! They have EVERYTHING! Love that store! So, don't forget to play along and link up your creation to the Lawnscaping Blog to get your entry in for this amazing prize!

Here's my card. Like I said, I'm not great at patterned paper with stamps but if I can do it, so can you! The background is make from Partly Cloudy. The tree and swing are from Critters in the Burbs, the bird is from Fly Free and the sentiment is from Just My Type, Too. I don't create a lot of scenes either so this card is WAY out of my element.

Messy Crafters Unite

Hi friends! I recently came across a blog post by Anthonette that made me breathe a huge sigh of relief. It was a post of her messy desk. She referenced THIS post by Kristina Werner who also has a messy desk and I was over the moon!

So, here's a picture of my craft room in all it's disgusting messiness. Honestly, I just can't find the time or motivation to clean it. Not only that, but I have NO idea how to organize so I was hoping I could find someone to help me. I've kind of lost hope that would happen. Perhaps, I should take a month off crafting to clean. Teehee, we shall see.

Have a great night everyone!
